Thumpers in Print

Did anyone see the May issue of Roadbike?  This issue has TWO THUMPERS featured in it.  One is a chopped Yamaha TT600...50's style...50 HP and 250 lbs...yahoo!!
The other is an SR 500 project bike.
It is not very often that you see an article about a street thumper, much less two in the same issue.

KEEP ON THUMPIN!!

That Yamaha was great.  I went out and lowered my XR500, and I think rather than go supermoto I will go for the same look as the TTR.  I'm looking for a cruiser-style tank and different seat.  I have not cut the rear swingarm out and went hardtail like that guy, but who knows.

Kick start only is cool.  That's for real hard core bikers.  Even the die-hard HD guys will agree with that.
