Here is an old photo of the seat bushings when I raised my seat.  I used 1/4" thick rubber which I cut to match the size of the stock pieces.  I put 2 round pieces (1/2") on the front and one rectangle piece on the rear (1/4") and glued them together with Weldwood contact cement.  Once that cement dries they won't come apart....messy, but good stuff.  That supported the pan on the frame pretty good.
