Biker build off team

Maybe Perry is right. We SHOULD get a crew together to pit against the show professionals. I should be medically cleared by the end of the year. Sluggo? Greg? Max? Who else is willing to be on international TV? Who knows, might be fun. At worst, we'd get turned down over the choice of power plant donor.  Angry

Plunger rear suspension like the Chief or BSA/Trump aftermarket frames, girder or springer front end, solo seat, etc. Something vintage flavored, as the bike is THE ultimate retro motorcycle. Raffle it off after the show to support the website or a major charity?  ???

I'm down for it. Can't be that hard to find a running salvage yard engine.

Thoughts, positive, negative, undecided? My feelings won't be hurt regardless of the outcome of the polling.  Grin

8)I'd say go for it WD! ... be rootin' for you guys for sure ... and I'd be glued to the TV!!
The current crop of Build Shows need a real shake-up ... they're becoming formula and somewhat predictable ... just like Survivor ...
Wow, I can just see it now ... a bunch of non-conformist Savage owners wrenchin' it up on television!

You think that we could get Miller Light as a sponsor?

How about the one in Seattle's historic Pike's Place market? Oh, wait,I'm boycotting Seattle... Sad

I'm serious about this. If we can get together a team, and by the way I love the junkyard wars type team/build idea, some positive things could come out of it.
1) Someone could get a really nice modified bike.
2) The site or a major biker charity could get some desperately needed capital.
3) The factory/aftermarket might be more inclined to do the right thing by the Savage/S40.
4) The bike would be seen as less of a joke (starter/girls bike).

When I'm cleared by my doctor, I'm going to contact the shows producers and see what they say.Like I said, the worst they could do is shoot down the idea, and if they go for it...
