klx650sm2002 Serious Thumper Offline The more I learn the less I know. Posts: 2041 Cumbria,England Gender:	Heat shield 03/06/05 at 01:53:54 I polished KLX's exhaust the other day, a nice shiny black. Today I polished the heat shield (aluminium) and fitted it, so darned cold I lost the feeling in my fingers, just as well KLX has antifreeze. Think I'll stay in the house. The heat shield is another thing you Savage guys don't need, KLX's pipe gets within about 1.5" of the carb. Clive W
