Yeah, I know. But sometimes you got to do things you dont what to do, to get what you need.

i'd get a world wide patent on that thing before some lurker steals it.  

i've always said  "hey what ever works for you".

i have already developed a contingincy plan to use the helmet as a center stand to remove rear wheel on the road.

Hey I've got a chair just like that one. It's a great idea but arn't you afraid of scratching the chair if the bike falls over? . I've used two pieces of 4x4 under the bottom shock mounts to hold the back end up, not very stable but you use what you've got till something better comes along.
