IDLE MIXTURE SCREW
03/02/05 at 10:08:53

I WAS GOING TO ADJUST IDLE MIXTURE - SO I THOUGHT.
PILOT SCREW COVER ALREADY REMOVED (PRIOR TO MY GETTING THIS BIKE).
HEAD OF SCREW IS STRIPPED - I CAN HARDLY GET ANY GRIP ON IT.
1-IS THIS SCREW EASILY REPLACED??
2-WHERE WOULD I GET ONE? - LOCAL DEALERSHIP NO HELP ON THIS ONE.....SCHEMATIC SHOWS THIS PART AS DISCONTINUED.
??? :'( ???

1.  back the screw all the way out. (dont lose the spring)
2.  Remove the screw
3.  Use a dremmel tool with the smallest circular cutting blade you can find.
4.  Cut a new slice in the top of screw and you'll be good to go. The only part of the screw that is functional is the tip (the part inside the carb) and the spring.

May the force be with you  Wink
