Lots of sunny days, only 35 days of rain a year, at the worst  Shocked (at least, in capital city), gorgeous wine 8)  (and girls, for you singles  Wink, incredible landscapes withing a couple of days of riding and 2 hours to the beach and mountains... the best performing Latin AMerican economy for the last 20 years... then...
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR????

The best time of the year to visit Chile is....  ALL THE YEAR!!!!
NO snow on the cities, unless you move far South (similar to New York in climate patterns), a short rainy season, and if you DO like to ride in snow, you can go to the mountains from late June to early September and ski your Savage around...
Environmental sciences and biotechnology are also fields with a lot of potential, since those industries are just starting to explode...
So, see you here (hurry, our mild fall is next door)

No, we speak Spanish, hermano
but most people at hotels, airport, and on the street will have some knowledge of basic English to help you if you get lost.
It's as if I went to the US and in just any city, I start asking for directions in Spanish, 90% of the people would think I'm nuts, give me weird looks and walk away, but the other 10% would try to help, either by showing a map, pointing to a cop, or kicking your a** to your destination  Grin ... it's a joke...
No high crime, unless you get into poor areas with your white, rubicund and blond tourist look Wink
Again, see you here (hurry, evenings are getting freshy)

Actually Spanish is pretty common in many parts of the USA. Most places around here post important signage bilingually.

This hispanic population is by far the fastest growing segment of Americans.

ˇViva everyone!

It might hit 50 here this weekend. Snow is still on the ground in the shady spots, but the rain scheduled for this weekend ought to fix that.

I hope to get out to the shed and get some wrenching done.   I'm itching and can only scratch it with a boxed end wrench.

A coworker left last night for Daytona.  Makes me wanna puke in the snow.

I love those rides of 50-75 miles just for lunch.  Almost every little town has a couple old diners or cafes.  You walk in the door and it's 1949 again.

Not that I've even been to 1949.

the ride for lunch was nice, started of a little rough though. i had just fueled up, pulled out onto highway went a little down the road and got "lit up".  i pull over,, state trooper asks "do you know why i pulled you over" i respond "havent got a clue". well you just slowed down for the stoplight, you didnt signal, and you license plate is mounted vertically. "i just let em add up before i stopped to talk to you about it".  bottom line, he wanted to check out the bike. he really liked how different it was. i rode away with out a ticket. dang it's nice having a unique machine.  8)

the rest of the ride was extremely pleasant, comfortable. lunch was good and the ride home uneventfull. i did stop at the race track and cleaned up the announcers booth. getting ready to go racin' season starts april 17th.
