Ok I'm gonna see if I can put a pic in here.......
Flash location (200 x 200):
>http:\\hometown.aol.com/bikernanatx/images/motorcycles1.jpg
With that mastered........... how do you get your own picture or symbol in your profile? I tried everything I could think of. ??? ??? ???
Use this code to post in your tagline:
[*img]http://telin.ugent.be/~gs/peeguy.gif[/img]
Just remove the asterisks to do so. I added them so it would not show the images instead. Edit in your own pix of course, unless you want it to be a little man peeing.

For purpose of demonstration I'll type the lines twice, once with curly brackets and once with square brackets:
To link to a web page you can place the address within the URL code:
{url}
http://savage.andruschak.net/posters.html{/url}
;
http://savage.andruschak.net/posters.html
Or just ignore the url code and simply type in the address:
http://savage.andruschak.net/posters.html
For long addresses you can place the address inside the first set of brackets with a description between the two sets:
{url=http://savage.andruschak.net/posters.html}posters{/url}
posters
For displaying pictures you use the IMG tags:
{img}
http://savage.andruschak.net/gargoyle1.jpg{/img}
;
{img}
http://savage.andruschak.net/gargoyle1_.jpg{/img}
;
(YaBB resizes to 450 width.)
To avoid the resizing of small pictures, specify the picture size:
{img width=180 height=135}
http://savage.andruschak.net/gargoyle1_.jpg{/img}
;
Finally you can combine the URL and IMG tags to make a clickable image:
{url=http://savage.andruschak.net/gargoyle1.jpg}{img width=180 height=135}
http://savage.andruschak.net/gargoyle1_.jpg{/img}{/url}
;

Okay, so the picture link is there or was there, is this just a one time thing that needs to be repeated each time you want to display the picture?

Can't figure out why the image is so poor. On the bikepics site, it looks just fine.

Your picture:
is 113 by 85 pixels. The YaBB resizes it to 450x338 causing ugly distortion. Tell YaBB the size the picture is supposed to be with a width= and height= inside the bracket with the img tag.
Which picture can then be cropped to 65x65, brightened, contrastiered, sharpened and saved as a .gif for use as an avatar:

it appears you linked to the thumbnail. open the photo at bic pics right click click on properties. copy address
from that photo. paste into the [img][/img] icon and it will be correct. i had the same problem a few moments ago.
as with all things computer, there are several different ways to accomplish what you want. just do what is easy for you.

this is a test first link to thumnail
now link to full sized image
it appears you linked to the thumbnail. it's a common mistake.
you must first click on thumbail to open full sized pic. you then right click then click on properties, then copy and paste url into the [img][/img] brackets. hope this helps. it's a mistake i've made and corrected. thats how i recoginized it.

Thanks for the info on adding pics. Also, for fixing and posting a clear photo of it. I too liked the motorcycles color, I've not seen motorcyles with this color but have seen automobiles.
As for the sissy bar, it was missing when I bought the bike. I'm planning to have a small chrome hand hold fabricated and added. I want it to have a radius that is just lower than the rear seats height.
Happy Riding All 8)
