Anyone ride an S-40 yet?

The bikes are appearing in the showrooms, so I was wondering if anyone has had a test ride?  I'm curious if Suzuki has refined the clunky shifting, if there is now some EPA sag in acceleration, and if the new seat is more comfy than the Savage effort.

ANYTHING has to be more comfortable.  I love my thumper, but my rump is asking me for another bike.

I have owned my S40 for about 1 1/2 months. I love the bike. The seat comments are accurate though. After about 1-2 hours you start to get fidgetty. I am considering ordering there new Gel Seat that is offered by Suzuki.

I don't know, but I think that others that have bought the Suzuki gel seat for the older Savages weren't that pleased with the seat.  Might be the same for the new Savage40.

The Savage gel seat is an improvement over the stock seat. Has the accessory gel seat changed for the BLVD/40?

There apears to be a slight difference in the new gel seat. Asside from the fact that the new one is a single unit, it looks like the slope has been lessened slightly. I have not yet had the chance to try one out.

I love the straight bars. It makes the bike really stand out and the handling is great (this from a new rider who has little to compare it to). I do find the bars to be a lot more comfotable to ride compared to my Yamaha xs650.
