That's all I can think of.... in no particular order.  Many mods have come from this site and I thank you all, I hope there are a few new ones here too.

Pretty tough looking!  8)  But I think you missed listing the fork boots amongst the mods. Those Dyna bars look particularly sharp! Are they high enough to clear the tank at full lock on those short risers?

I'm keeping my eye out for the next set of Intruder shocks through eBay that aren't rusty. So far the last couple of pairs in recent weeks have been beat and/or rusty.

BTW, will the shocks from the bigger Intruder fit, or must they be from the 700-800 series. At 250+ I don't think the heavy duty ones would be too stiff for me, as long as they'll fit.

grampa - Not ex-g.i., but I was a military brat for 16 yrs, mostly just born on a budget.

Lancer - your bike is one of my inspirations! Sluggo's and others too.

Rockin_John - Fork boot omission corrected (msr daystar "series 58"), thanks for noticing.  Don't know about 1400 shocks, got the 800's from a friend, they bolt up perfect..  Remember if you do the mod you must check for clearance, or remove the beltguard.  I also modded the petcock's reserve tube to account for the  change and added the hockey puck to the kickstand to adjust for added tilt,  good for soft ground too!(recommended!) Dyna- bars do clear if you don't tilt them down too much.

Thanks for all the comments, I've added a left side view to the pics.

vroom1776, I like bar end mirrors but I live in a very urban traffic area and need the rear visibility so I just ordered a pair of mini cruiser mirrors much like what's on it but a little bit smaller.  If I were more rural I'd probably go with just one left-side bar end.

I'm currently reworking the tailight mount to make it tuck up to the fender better.  ...slight clearance problem.  You can tell in the third pic.

Rockin_John,
I looked at the shocks on a 1400 suzuki and they look the same as the 800.  Not 100% sure but my guess is, yes they would fit the same.  The only thing I had to do is use a smaller diameter washer on the top shock mount because the nut is inset.
Best luck,
Serowbot

Good job!!! I know those OTHER bike riders were bummed when the lowly Savage whooped um. The guys I beat with mine from 0-60 were amazed. Once again, VERY NICE JOB.   Hutch
