An example of a woman required to carry longer due to abortion procedure law in FL.

This is an example of what I would consider an obvious flaw in the "never" concept of abortion procedures. Some women will die if they do not have the dead fetus removed.

So should women be forced to maintain a non-viable pregnancy because the procedure for saving her life is "abortion" by technical term?

Like Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Texas.

I don't know which Southern state YOU live in, but several of those states passed anti-abortion bills AGAINST the will of their people. Trumpedo, the Lyin' "King" has just ordered that the word "embryo" be replaced with "children" in all federal legislation. MAGATs have caused all kinds of problems with this sort of legislation. The most glaringly obvious thing is that ALL anti-abortion laws violate the federal HIPPA law: Unless the patient gives her consent, it is illegal to even look at their personal medical history, including ANY pregnancy, so the states CANNOT legally access that information without committing a felony. Why TF are y'all electing politicians who do not know what they are doing?

In addition to this being blatantly un-scientific, it's also ILLEGAL to change the wordings of statutes without a congressional vote, not that legality has ever been something Trumpedo abides by.

It was what the Majority of the people that Legally voted wanted.

Now should some abortion rules be made different, for different situations. ?

This isn't true. State prosecutors and law enforcement can legally compel a healthcare provider to surrender records if they obtain a valid court order, warrant, or subpoena.

Even the latest HIPAA Privacy Rule to Support Reproductive Health Care Privacy clearly indicates there are legally binding exceptions. Providers can only disclose your medical records for law enforcement purposes if they are legally required to do so (e.g., via a court-ordered warrant or subpoena). Providers generally retain the discretion to decline to release records unless forced by a court or specific statute.

It is not a universal felony to request or disclose HIPPA information, there are exceptions.

This isn't exactly accurate as elected legislators can make laws that do not coincide with the majority. For instance if Elected Official Jones wins by majority vote, he can then introduce and have a law passed that increases taxes - even if the majority of populace is not pro-higher taxes.

This has happened with some but not all abortion laws.
