I have a front wheel or two....not sure how spiffy the hub is.

I will look and let you know what I have.

This is what I have....it is not perfect - but pretty nice for this part of the country where we have winter and 90% humidity on hot summer days!

The spokes aren't rusty - but are dark colored.

The rim is pretty nice - some rust staining around the valve....not sure if it is the rim or the nut causing the stain.

If you were here to pick the wheel up I would give it to you.

If you want the hub - I would like to get $20 for taking it apart, boxing it up and driving to the Post Office........and you pay shipping.

(I expect the cost to ship the whole wheel is not desirable).

Thank you Dave , you’re a gentleman and a scholar. But I really need a super clean hub as it will be the centerpiece of a near 1k worth of Buchanan’s. Your front wheel arrives first (in theory) it’s the first thing the eye gravitates to until your bike stops moving at that point eyes wander to inhale the rest of the bike. Almost ten years later and I still stand and stare at my bike. Nothing makes me glow more than others doing the same. Thanks Dave it’s clearly not the money , I appreciate your efforts. On the hunt , one on eBay under 100 miles away that’s a maybe. No real rush it’s part of next winter’s maintenance , get it to Buchanan’s around Halloween.
I’ll be riding soon , in a couple weeks. A tank of super and a can of lawnmower gas and Ruttly gonna lose those Walkin Blues !

I understand.

To get a hub as nice as I wanted....I had to strip off the clear coat and polish the hub.  Then I used stainless spokes and a new rim from Buchannans to make my 18" wheel.

(Excuse the water spots...I must not have dried it off completely the last time I washed the bike).

NOTE:  This hub is not for sale!!!!!!! Wink

Yeah my hub is stock but it’s real nice. My BSA wheels are special with hubs powder coated in alien silver, polished rims, spokes & nipples. Show quality rims $$$$. I put in a bid in on  one cause it’s close & cheap. And the rim will get repurposed into backyard fire pit/bbq grill with side support for a pot or Dutch oven. Also fish smoking basket made from air fryer baskets, big enough for 2 large steelhead fillets. I might need 1 more rim to get started on that project. Once all parts are gathered up a , a relatively quick welding project.
Thanks Again Dave !
