No it isn't. That is an amateur "You caught me" defense used by many child predators to unsuccessfully defend their actions.

Entrapment is an affirmative legal defense to induce or coerce someone to commit a crime they would not ordinarily commit. You describe Clinton lying under pressure - that is not entrapment, that is lying because his wife was watching and there were consequences for telling the truth.

Lying because you were caught is not entrapment. Nobody forced Clinton to let Lewinsaki under the desk.

I know Karen McDougal personally, I've known her since 1997. When asked about an affair between her and Trump - specifically, in public, with his wife looking on, and he "understandably" denied it, in a legally binding situation, does that mean Trump was "entrapped"?
