Next we were looking for ideas on how to mount and give support to the silencer without disturbing the lines of the bike, especially down the center.
Trying to make it look good and be functional. This is what we came up with as idea.
Creating bushings (or what the correct word would be

?) to slide into the frame. Locking this with a small hex key.
The bushing is als supported by the rear of suspenstion plate frame mount so it cannot drop down.
Then the silencer will be welded to a bracket, on 2 spots per side to limit heat transfer.
The plates will be slotted into the bushings and welded in. The whole silencer assembly will be able to slot in and out of the frame for (dis)assembly.
Everything in stainless, it will be polished later.
Almost everything that is not frame is either stainless or aluminium and will be polished in the end.
Here is the start:

Drilled and tapped, hex in place.
Will have to add a little bit of material to the plates for proper support.

There is not that much distance between tire and silencer.
We measured the travel in the shocks and are almost 10mm short.
We can either add bump stops to the shocks or relocate the suspension mounts later if necessary. We will have to see how this ends up and what looks proper aswell.
But will probaly need a little more height at the rear.
Start on the brackets
