Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

Three times the pistons, three times the displacement.....three times the fun?"

This could hurt your attention to the 250,000 mile quest!

It will delay the "quarter million mile" event.. but I still plan on doing it!
After all, miles have been dedicated to Mad Hamish as well during the years.

It is really weird... Riding nothing but Savage for 14 years, and then riding this.
The rocket makes the savage feel like a toy.. until I get back in "savage" mode and then appreciate the nimbleness and "twitchy" handling.
The savage make the rocket feel like a bus.. until I get back in "rocket" mode and then appreciate the effortless acceleration and smooth ride.

Update..
Cal Sci windscreen added.  Now I hit fast speeds without knowing it even sooner..
Grip Puppies added.  Those English folks must have the smallest hands..  I was cramping and going numb.  Grip Puppies made a huge difference.

The rear tire on your Savage looks like it needs a little love next!  Shocked

Appreciate the concern, but that is a Michelin Commander III Cruiser.  That is what they look like!

I am still alive.. just not as much as in the past.
I do lurk here, and enjoy the posts.  I just have a hard time thinking of anything worth while to contribute!!

The Rocket (still hasn't earned a name yet), is now complete for what I wanted to do to it.
Mods (beyond what was done before I got it)..  if you care:
Taller windscreen
Rox riser extension
Corbin saddle bags
Innovv K3 cameras
LaMonster tank decal
Big flag mount (courtesy of my excellent welder buddy!!)
Still waiting on him to finish the small flag adapter.
Need to get a few photos to post up....  Embarrassed

Riding is about:
60% Rocket
30% Thumper
10% Mad Hammish

The real interesting part is switching back and forth between the bikes.
Shocked

So.. Merry Christmas to ALL of you.. and a very Happy New Year.
