Threaded frame studs for rear brake pedal spinning
06/30/19 at 18:41:10

Anyone ever have the threaded studs that hold the rear brake pedal assy and fwd exhaust heat shield spin in the frame?  The way it catches here and there makes it seem like there's something i should be able to do to get it to tighten up.

Those aren't studs. They are thru bolts. Look on the other side and you will see the heads of the bolts.
They go thru the engine and when you loosen them expect some oil leakage, normal.
You will have to remove them whenever you remove the exaust header or remove the right side cover. ( like to check the cam chain tensioner )

Ah, perfect, that explains the oil too.  Guess I wasn't paying attention after a day of doing a new exhaust, rejetting and replacing fork seals...I'll blame it on that...
