Cafe racer ride through the Dolomites

Looks like a fun road.  I'm jealous of how easy their clutches look to pull!

Now that I own a GoPro and have recorded only 15 minutes worth of riding.....I realize how hard and how much work a video like the this would take to shoot and edit.  They have a gymbal/gyro stabilizer hanging on the front forks in a few shots...and mounted in other places for shots where the bike leans in the corner but the camera doesn't.  They have the camera mounted on a helmet swivel in some shots....and stationary on the ground in other shots.  This little video probably took them 20 or more hours to complete!

Tocsik

I recognized the Kawasaki as being a KZ400 or 440 (depending on year) , mine was a 1981 model with belt drive.   The clutch was easy to pull , but ridding double I had to down shift on big long hills.    Not sure what the Yamaha is ... ?

Great ride and build. I'll apologise up front if I sound like 'Topper" from Dilbert: type 'schaaf' into u-tube and hang on! He's on a cb500 twin he's owned for 9 years, knows every mm of it and rides like he stole it!
How he gets away without being dead is puzzling. Italian/swiss/french/austrian Alps mountain passes.
cheers! Cool

I dream about finding roads like that. Mountain passes are the best. A new found road is a gift to the senses. A new road fills you with excitement as well as caution , adrenaline is a drug,it's free,it is addictive, you just have to know how to turn it on and Johnny Law can't confiscate it ! Grin

Those aren't barriers along the sides of the road.  They're tombstones from all those who lost focus!

On a road like that you stop to appreciate the views and then go back to riding. If I lived near that I would ride it every weekend till it got closed for the winter , as for the road it looked fine to me. You should see my favorite road , tore up from the floor up ,washouts, ripples, chuck holes, pavement changes, bad repairs, mudslides and the occasional stray cow even saw a mountain lion crossing the road. It's a great road Shocked
