Abandoned Savage?
05/28/14 at 03:42:07

At the small strip center next to my office, there is a Savage that has been sitting for almost a week.  The store manager said the owner pulled up to the pumps, got gas......then pushed the bike out to the edge of the parking lot.  I went out and looked at the bike and it has 15,000 miles on it, the battery is gone, and it has a bad head plug leak.  I am probably going to leave him a note so he can find this site.....and how to contact me.  He needs a head plug fix....and probably a Versy by now.

Got a call from the owner.  He had to bail on the bike and go to work, and it was an out of town trip.

He still loves his bike, and is having it picked up.  The bike is just flat dead electric wise......he does not have time to work on it himself....it is going to the local dealer.

Good for you and him! Hopefully, he'll check in on the forum and have the stealership look at the potential issues at that mileage.
