I have been doing the plug cap leak fix and yesterday I tried to dryfit the head cover, just to know how to do it later with the sealant. The thing is that i can get it on so that it fits into the locating dowels, but it is "wiping" (not being perfectly aligned). Iam pretty sure that the engine is set to TDC so there should be no pressure from the cam lobes. Could it be damaged? I have been very carefull when removing the cover. Or is this normal and will be pulled down when tightening the bolts?

The lobes are facing down and alignment mark is in horisontal position

I wouldn't count on it pulling flat when you tighten,.. it might crack instead...
Make sure the alignment holes are clean... (maybe add a touch of lube to the pins)...

It came off flat,.. it should go back on that way...

Great tip! Layed it down onto a glas table and it seems to be ok. Cleaned and put some lube onto the dowels and it sliped down a tiny bit more and now it dosent wiggle anymore

and the center bolt if you're doing it in frame.  

I keep some glass around just for such occasions. IN a pinch ( as in, you dont own a dedicated epoxy mixing board) it makes a fine epoxy mixing spot. I dont use cardboard because it soaks up some of the liquid out of the epoxy. Now, does that harm the epoxy? I Dont know,, I just want the best strength I can get out of any epoxy I mix, so, I dont risk it that way.
