Exhaust bolt, cross threaded

So, I lost my only key and I couldn't ride this weekend, so I decided to pull the clutch cover and check my cam chain tensioner. Yep, it was hanging. (Bought  a used Frankenstein with an '86 engine no clue how many miles, the owner said "low" of course).  When I pulled the muffler the upper bolt would turn a little then get hard to turn etc.  It looks like the bolt is slightly bent and first 3 threads in the hole are reamed out. Is this a drill/tap situation or can I get a straight bolt and work it in, ya think? If it is a drill/tap it looks like it can be done with the engine in, is that correct?
Thanks!

This is perfect. Fortunately I don't have to drill out the old bolt. Much appreciated!
