1995 Savage bought years ago for $800. Slugged forks 2" to lower front end, cut out 11 degrees of rake at the neck and rewelded, clip on bars, new tires F&R, custom removable tank cover for track racing, added custom fins to cylinder head, removed 70 pounds down to 282 pounds with a half full tank, seat and rear fairing, LiPo battery of 1/2 pound, Custom flat box muffler under frame/engine, reworked tail light and license carrier, added mini tachometer, discarded 4 pounds of kick stand and made one under 1/2 pound and no engine modifications. Wheelbase now 53 inches and the bike turns on a dime. Videos maybe next week if I manage to get it to start nicely (it was perfect a year ago) and stay running.

Pictures are decent enough resolution to be placed on your desk top and enlarged enough to see all my shoddy work.

Here are some pictures of my first Savage (project).

Wanted to create something different. Kind of a madmax / walking dead kind of vibe. Everything worked perfectly and it rode well, much better than images might suggest. Which was kinda the point

I liked the 50cal decomp lever, the tractor fuel filter and the croc leather seat, the weird tank paint and details on the covers. It just had to be a little different. It was a fun bike to work on!

You have to love motorcycles to appreciate his eye , even the shapes & lines are on point !
