Yep!  Another 350 that is built for riding in those countries where commuting is done at a slower pace on local roads.

Those of us who ride in the US and plan on using the motorcycle to commute on highways - we really need to be able to go 60mph.....maybe even 70mph pretty easily.  We just can't do that on a 350 single.....a 300 twin can do it pretty easily.  IF your commute is only on city streets or local roads - a 350 could work for you.

The US market is only 0.9% of the world motorcycle market - what we want or need is really not relevant to what will be built.

For the US a motorcycle like our Savage with 30HP is about as small as you can get and ride and keep up to traffic speed on the highway......and even then you are likely to be one of the slowest vehicles on the road.  Recently the Honda Trail and Cub have been increased to 125cc and use the same engine as the Grom and Monkey with just 9HP......for the US market the Cub and Trail really need to be 200cc or more, as they top out at less than 60mph and can only hold 45mph or so on level ground.
