Hey y'all!

About a year ago, I joined this site, and after a short while, I donated some money to the cause. Not much, mind you, cause I am OLD and on pretty much a fixed income. I recognized early that this site was very beneficial.

Last week, I had been commenting in a thread ('cause my words are SO important!!!! ;D - just joking!!) and mentioned that I had donated and encouraged others to do so as well.

Almost immediately after that, I received an email asking me to donate!! THAT was quick!!

Well, I did donate again - not much again - but some - because I have found this site tremendously helpful (and sometimes entertaining!). I figure that the money will be well worth it in the future as I am sure I will be able to save that much and more simply by knowing more about my bike, but also in the time and cost I will save by knowing how to do things myself - as I like to do anyway!

So . . . all of you out there: DONATE too!!

Didn't we used to have a donate icon on the home page ?

Mine only has :Home-Help-Search-Members-My Center-Logout .... :-?

Is it gone for Tax reasons ? ;D

Mine has a "Donate" tab at the top of this page.
I just used it to send my yearly donation.

I also donate to this site (and my local community radio station). They are both amazing sources of inspiration and community ... and they have to pay the bills. A few bucks donation here and there, to keep the culture alive, is nothing compared to what I would happily pay for a few beers over the course of a weekend.

And I must say, the generosity of the members on this site has never ceased to amaze me. Not just in time and knowledge, but in actually sharing actual 'stuff'! I'm just waiting for the right thread to pop up, looking for parts I have, but no longer need, so I can return the favor!
