Can you imagine how many nights he laid in bed, picturing in his mind the ways to accomplish what he wanted to build? The craftsmanship,, Wow, the wire fingers that release the balls, note that one of the wooden bits is slightly off to the side of the channel the balls run in,, so, the wire is angled over an inch ,

That's a Rube Goldberg machine. I can see a variable speed motor on the crank.

I've thought about a guitar playing machine,, can you imagine what that could do? No chord unreachable, no lick too quick, always the right string with a pick.

Naturally I immediately gargled the name. They are building a machine that they can tour with. The crowd will go wild when they wheel that thing out.
I wonder if they can change the tabs that the pegs on the belt hit and change octaves...

The guy who built the machine is a solid Genius.
He is musically a genius and mechanically a genius.
I've sat and talked with doctors and lawyers and physicists and millionaires and tons of smart people,, and I'm at least Conversant,,, but I don't know if that man would be able to get into the
Readers Digest level enough to even keep from embarrassing me..

I worked with this guy over a year.. He is the one who offered to send me to Texas Tech to be a teacher..

He IS a Good man,,but he is not one bit of a softie. And he was Out in the hot sun working,, Such a great family,, very glad I was a part of that operation. None of them called him Dad, it was just Fred...
I worked for a bunch of people, but the ones who I would go out of my way for are few, and every one of this family were good to me and mine..
