I'm not sure this is accurate; although, it is probably fairly close. You can look up invoice vs retail pricing for all kinds of vehicles.

Invoice may not necessarily be the actual dealer cost, after rebates and such from the manufacturer. That is assuming that motorcycle dealers & manufacturers work in a similar fashion to auto dealers/manufacturers.
