Wife took a cruise,, months ago, now, im going to see a friend down in Galveston. The pickup isn't running, phhhht,, taking a bus,, BUT, he has a Savage, 2002 model with about 2,200 miles on it,,, AND he is wanting to Sell i t! It's got a Jardine, Stage One cam,jetted, OEM tires, but they seem healthy, and a Verslavy, I'm planning on riding it home. |

I don't think just riding will be a problem, but man, I get kinda like motion sickness, I don't wanna puke, but I get off balance. I can ride, but the legs are wobbly, and I have dropped it and nearly dropped it at stops. |

About a five hour trip... or, so they say.. Or, I wanted to go Amtrak,,Buuut, it's $150.00, Longview to SAN ANTONIO, fer kryin owtlowd,,, overnight there, and I sleep on a floor or go get a room,, then, Off to Houston, where they put me on a Bus to Galveston.... I really Did wanna take the train,, but that just doesn't seem practical. |
