Hello! Been a long time since I've been around here, but I see lots of old pals with recent posts! My hubby and I moved a few years ago, and I kinda quit riding. Wasn't comfortable in the new area. My bike has been sitting in my garage for over 3 years now, ridden maybe a dozen times. Sad, ain't it? So I decided to sell the piglet. I have someone who says he's coming to get it tomorrow and I'm having second (and third, and fourth) thoughts! Anyway, I guess I've committed now, so I'll follow thru if he does.

But I decided I should stop in and say hello. I hope someone remembers me :). And I hope all you fine folks are well and good.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads too!

Baby Hog didn't you get the scavenger hunt going ? :) seems like you and Hubby lived in ??? Atlanta ?? .

Did you get Pigglet broke-in good for the next owner ?

Hi Babyhog, I for one did notice you had gone missing.

There are quite a number of "seniors" who have gone missing (i.e. left the Forum) since I first joined way back in 2006.

The girl in Hawaii, for one; she had a Hawaiian nickname (but it wasn't Aloha) SavageWahine ! :D

The old British Gentleman, Nick (something) who had moved from California to Oregon (Washington?)

The other guy whose avatar was of himself smiling sitting astride a tractor (or a bike...) and had moved from the Corn Belt to Wyoming or the Dakotas...

Paladin may be lurking but I haven't seen recent posts, as Lancer...

So please don't leave the Forum, and most certainly do not sell your piglet !
I was about to open a new thread to cry over the dissappointment of a newly bought HD Dyna, and how I've gone back to the Savage...

Trust me, you'd miss the bike sooo badly ! :-[

It feels good to be remembered! :D

MMR, I did start the Scavenger Hunt. I saw yesterday that its still going, and I think that's awesome! I also saw that the wiring diagrams I scanned are still there. Not Atlanta.... West Virginia. We moved from mid-state to northern WV, just a couple hours from where we were.

Honestly, after I stopped riding so much, I kept thinking I might as well sell it. Then every time I'd list it, I'd change my mind, and back out before anyone bought it, but I still wouldn't ride it! :-/ Life has just changed quite a bit for us. We have our camp/farm going pretty well now, I'm breeding chickens, believe that or not! And it takes up a lot of my time.

But here's the kicker... Hubby just sold his Jeep too. Then he tells me he wants to get another bike!! (he had the C90)... all this AFTER I've been texting this guy about my bike! So I kept hoping the guy would back out, but he didn't. Now he definitely wants it, and is coming this evening. I can't back out now, right? I want to back out, but I'm just not that kind of person.

Have sure missed you guys though. :-* :-*

Hey Serow, I only made it to AZ once before my mother came back to WV, and she passed away within a couple weeks of returning here.

Maurizio, I remember a bunch of those folks too. Lancer doesn't post any more? Shame on him...

And somebody smack Versy for not saying hello to me. ;D

Sure you can back out of this sale somewhat easily.....all you have to do put a ball bearing in the fuel line. The bike will stop for sure as he is pulling out the drive for the test ride! ;)

You can back out of any deal, right up to the point that the money changes hands...
If you don't want to sell,.. just tell him so,.. (even let him take a little test ride, so he didn't waste his time)...
... but you can keep the bike if you want to...

So if the new (would be owner) test drives pigglet but doesn't buy it , then (he/she) will still be hooked on all that tork , might even find a bike elsewhere and find there way to our site ! ;)

If ya'll let bikers camp on the chicken ranch , then you could have company some time ? W.V. might be a fun place to turn OldFeller loose sometime . ;D
