Title: IRON MOUNTAIN ARKANSAS Post by MMRanch on 06/15/16 at 21:38:37 I plan to attend a CMA-USA rally at Iron Mountain Ar. next week . Here is a map of the area : http://cmausa.org/!images/ironmtn/AreaMaps_Directions.pdf I'll have a camp site paid for and a 8x10 tent . There are a few of the events going on at the rally I'd like to attend , but there is a lot of time for "Day-Ridding" in the area also. Its almost in Oklahoma . Anybody want to join in or do a Day-Ride one day next week ? There are three suggested day rides on this link but I suspect someone local would know of a lot more ! ;) |

Title: Re: IRON MOUNTAIN ARKANSAS Post by MMRanch on 06/17/16 at 08:43:40 Work , Work , Work --- I had to work yesterday , Wednesday the wind Took-Out part of a tree shading my driveway : Took all day yesterday to pick-up the mess ... well it was so hot (upper 90's) that I had to take frequent breaks too ::) The tree is an old Hack-Berry about as big around as a Monster Truck tire , but the three limbs that came down were barely small enough for a 20" bar chainsaw to reach through. The wood just about refilled my winter wood-stove stacks --- and I got a new brush-pile to find rabbits in ! ;) |

Title: Re: IRON MOUNTAIN ARKANSAS Post by MMRanch on 06/26/16 at 19:48:29 I got back before dark today . Fact is : I got , Second place at the Hawassi Ga. at the CMAUSA Eastern Rally last summer. Then got First place at the Tn. CMAUSA State Rally in Monetary Bell State Park. At the IRON MOUNTAIN Arkansas Rally that just finished there was a guy on an old Sportster who rode that thing like he was Born-on-it ! ;D He won the Slow race this year and one of the other games where the passenger throws a water balloon over a high bar as they ride under it, then catches it on the other side , him and his wife won that too. He was defiantly one with his bike in a big way ! ;) They raise the bar after every round till there is only one couple left. So the guy that put me out won the round by 4 inches (course is about 20 yards long), then on the next and last round was put out by the young guy on the old Sportster. I'm claiming Third place this year . ::) There were 840 + registered members there this year , but I'm guessing only 50-60 participated in the games . It was all FUN STUFF ! :) |
