Separation of church and state eliminates the perceived problem. Christians don't want religious laws that THEY didn't write. ALL religion based laws are illegal in the US, BTW, so anti-abortion laws are illegal, for instance.

That's not true.  Multiple laws based on religion have been passed and been implemented without issue for decades.  Laws allowing enlisted military personnel to have exceptions for grooming for instance are directly quoted from religious text, and enacted in law.

References provided even though I "never" provide references for anything I say.  One is the US Constitution, which has been declared a "Fake MAGA" reference.  Both claims about my references are obvious lies.

Then those laws are illegal.

The basis of separation of church and state in the United States is primarily derived from the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment, which together prohibit the government from establishing an official religion or interfering with individuals' rights to practice their faith. This principle was famously articulated by Thomas Jefferson as creating a "wall of separation between Church and State."

If those laws are based on "established religion", they are illegal. The Military has its own laws, courts, and court officers. Forcing ANYONE to comply with the illegal laws is illegal. A few laws are similar to "religious" laws, but existed before there were any major religions. Stealing and murder were against the law in most places before Christianity existed. Just because they are in the Ten Commandments, the Talmud, or the Koran doesn't make them religious laws.

Now who's the pseudo lawyer.  Interesting that no actual successful legal arguments exist supporting your stance.

If those laws are based on "established religion", they are illegal.

That's not how the actual legal structure in the US are actually applied.  Another reference that I "never" provide:

https://supreme.justia.com/cases-by-topic/religion/]https://supreme.just...

There are three basic applications:

1: Imposing religious tests or requirements for public office (violating Article VI of the Constitution).
2: Denying equal treatment or single out specific religious groups for penalties or discrimination without a compelling governmental justification.
3: Establishing an official state church or coerce religious observance.

Laws exist that protect religious practice.  I assume we are expected to ignore completely that laws protecting religious practice are not religious based laws.  Even though they are specifically about religion.

Needles is clearly in my opinion claiming to be a lawyer now.

Never.

Ask yourself, which one of us is trying to "spin" the laws, LIKE A LAWYER?

I've never claimed to be a lawyer, just a person with a degree in English. I'm simply going by what the written material says, NOT an "interpretation", like a lawyer would...

The point of the video was 1) to point out the heroics of the pilot and passengers and 2) to question why an airline would hire that pilot to begin with. He was removed from one airline for his extremist views yet hire again and 3) not like we need more evidence, but Islam creates an awful lot of followers who embrace violence.

I also have never claimed to be a lawyer.  But you say I do.  Show proof or you lied.

I quote actual cases and US law, and cite them, this thread is a perfect example of this.  Where are your references?  The kind you demand of others by they way.

I clearly provide reference to US law and the US Constitution.  You provide none.
