Glad you got that sorted out!
It's funny what can take away from, and add to, enjoyment of riding.
My rear brakes have been squealing and weak to grab and my belt has been noisy again (even though I already switched to the double row bearing).
I finally ordered some new rear shoes, front pads, did an oil change and carefully aligned the belt after putting the rear wheel back on.
I have silent stopping power again, a smooth motor from the new oil, and a nearly silent belt again. It's so much more enjoyable to ride! I wasn't even really cleaning the bike much since I just wasn't enjoying it, but now the wheels are all polished up again

.
Also took a little time to lubricate all the joints of the shift rods, so that's improved, too.
I'm back to that nice riding zen and anxious to get on every morning for my commute. Plus, the heat finally broke here in Denver, so it's all coming together!
