Authorities have not yet released the suspect’s identity but said the shooting started as a confrontation between two groups that knew each other.

The suspect, a man whose identity is not being released publicly, was taken to a hospital in life-threatening condition.

Meanwhile, the nine people he allegedly shot – all of whom were adults, and were struck in their extremities – were all transported to hospitals in critical condition, Magos said.
