"... The Muslim Brotherhood has been pursuing a deliberate and long-term plan to infiltrate American society and institutions from within, according to Dalia Ziada, a research analyst with the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP).
In a newly released video by ISGAP, Ziada presents an analysis of the Brotherhood’s strategy, which she states is rooted in a 100-year plan outlined in the group’s own Explanatory Memorandum.
The memorandum, uncovered during a 1991 FBI investigation, describes how the Brotherhood would gradually establish influence in the United States by infiltrating cultural, educational, and political spheres.
“They’ve been working on this for 40 years, and it’s working,” Ziada said. “It’s not spontaneous. It’s deliberate, and it’s been unfolding for decades.”
Ziada explains that the plan relies on patience and gradualism. Rather than overt political action, the Brotherhood allegedly seeks to gain influence by aligning with civil rights organizations, using key events like 9/11, the rise of the BDS campaign, and the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel as catalysts to spread anti-Israel and Islamist narratives.
According to the video, the Brotherhood’s approach is marked by avoiding direct public confrontation while promoting its ideology through proxies and front groups. These groups, Ziada says, often present themselves as community or civil rights advocates while masking broader Islamist objectives.
The Explanatory Memorandum, presented as evidence in the landmark Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial, explicitly describes the group’s aim to wage a “civilizational jihad” that would “destroy Western civilization from within.”
Ziada’s remarks follow growing concern among Jewish and pro-Israel organizations over what they describe as coordinated efforts to normalize anti-Israel sentiment and marginalize Zionist voices in academia, media, and politics.
“The Muslim Brotherhood’s long-term strategy is a clear and present threat to democratic values,” said Dr. Charles Asher Small, Executive Director of ISGAP. “Recognizing this ideological infiltration is key to confronting antisemitism and safeguarding liberal democracies.”
The Brotherhood is considered a terrorist organization in several countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. It remains legal in Canada and the United States, though its activities have been subject to scrutiny by intelligence and security agencies.
Calls are growing for policymakers to investigate the influence of Brotherhood-linked organizations operating under the guise of advocacy and education, particularly those advancing anti-Zionist narratives on North American campuses.
