After 10 years off the savage I'm trying to get it running again. It has sat in my barn and garage patiently waiting for me and now that my little kids are not so little it is time. Well I started gathering everything I need and the clymer manual I have owned for 20 years is missing. It had notes and corrections, records of service and modifications, specs, really just a lot of memories and work documented in there and it appears to be gone. I would not intentionally get rid of something like that and I have torn my house and garage apart looking for it. I guess I'm just posting here because I am unreasonably upset about losing it, after all it is somewhat replaceable. But I thought maybe some of you would understand and maybe take a lesson and hold those books and records close as once they are gone you too may feel the pain of no longer having access to them.
