Posts: 2292 Spring, Texas Gender:	Quiet down shorty slash cut muffler Today at 09:51:23 My last HD muffler on the S40 bit the dust and I replaced it with a Milwaukee Twins slash cut shorty. It does not muffle nearly as much as I would like. Any recommendations on a cheap and easy way to quiet it down a bit?

If the muffler goes straight through.....it really has nothing to "muffle" with.

You may be able to install some form of a baffle to help. You will need to order based on the size of your tubing. Here are a few links to the kind of thing that might work:
