It says so in the Declaration of Independence, and is cemented by the Constitution. "High crimes and misdemeanors" while in office, are definitively TREASON. Not true.
For those of us not willing to lie about this stuff all the time it is really simple:
It is likely that all TREASON!! committed while in office is a "high crime/misdemeanor", not all "high crimes and misdemeanors" are acts of TREASON!
"High crimes and misdemeanors" are impeachable offenses under Article II, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution. Of course you never bother to actually look at that or reference it while demanding such references of others.
Treason is
strictly and narrowly defined in Article III, Section 3 as "levying War against (the US), or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort".
We get it, You want TREASON! so bad you will lie, and win record numbers of Gold Medals in the Mental Gymnastics Olympics, to continually fail in convincing people that Your interpretation of TREASON! is how US law should apply.
Unfortunately until we
Amend the US Constitution we are stuck with what we have, not what social media and Youtube tells us.
