Hey all- I’m new to the forum and I’m hoping this is the best place for me to post this. I recently installed a Delkevic muffler on my 06 S40 and after putting everything back together my rear brake pedal is incredibly difficult to push down and once it is down it doesn’t return upon letting go. I didn’t fully remove the right footpeg assembly, just removed the nuts/washers to remove the heat shield. I checked the return spring and I can’t see anything out of the ordinary, what should I do to trouble shoot? (Rear brake was perfectly fine and was recently serviced prior)

Outside storage is hard on everything.  I once had a Ford tractor that had spent it's entire life parked outside prior to me owning it.  It seemed like every time I wanted to use it I spent as much time working on it as I did actually driving it.

"ALL" motorcycles really should have regular cleaning and lube of the moving parts to keep them working properly.  Brake levers, clutch lever. kickstand, foot shifter and similar moving parts should be taken apart, cleaned and lubed frequently.

You would be pleasantly surprised how much smoother and easier these parts work when they are properly maintained!
