I watched the Super Bowl yesterday and was securely planted on my couch with a beer and food so I did see the halftime show. I had no idea who this guy Bugs Bunny was until I read about him a couple of days ago.

As far as Super Bowl halftime shows go, it wasn’t that much different than any other one I’ve seen which means it was stupid because I don’t listen to whatever genre they call that crap.

I did find myself waiting for something to be said in English for a little bit, and then realized the whole thing was going to be in Spanish.

Interestingly, earlier in the broadcast, they made a point to say that football was America’s game……and then they had a halftime special all in Spanish. Go figure.

I loved the show. I didn't even watch the game. I don't have any problems with the Spanish, and I agree with the (mildly) protest theme of the show. You don't do yourselves any favors by refusing to learn anything new.

Smart people: They don't speak our language; I wonder if we can learn to speak to them.

Stupid people: Why don't they learn English?

I understand Kid Rock had an alternative halftime show.
Imagine if he sung in english the exact same lyrics as was on the Super Bowl halftime show….

How dafuk do YOU know what I like or don't like? Oh, and I speak English, Spanish, German, and a little Portuguese, and am learning Finnish and Polish. I LOVED the halftime show. I also love that the Seahawks won, even though I'm not a team sports geek. The owner of the Patriots gave Trumpedo $1 million. Also, the Patriots sucked, from what little I saw of the game.
