That’s great news Lancer!

Springman - I can handle getting caught in a little passing shower.  But I won’t decidedly head out into a thunderstorm.  We got hammered over here last night.  Patio furniture and plants got tossed around pretty good.  Trees and fences are still standing.  After damage from a small tornado one year and derecho winds the next, I’m pretty done with that stuff for a while.

The only times I have ridden in a real downpour is because I got caught in it. If lucky when that happens, we find an overpass or something else to hide under. I've been caught in the rain at least twice heading to the Hill country. Next time you see MM you can ask him about the first time I rode with him heading to the Hill country. Right after Columbus the rain caught us and decided to follow us. That is the wettest I have ever been on a ride.

Another time Hammer and I got caught by the rain heading to Kerrville. We pulled in under and over pass where we found at least 10-15 other bikers. Luckily that was only a 15 minute or so delay and the rest of the way was dry. Cool
