Until after 2son, then liquid sunshine for a bit. Luckily I didn't have to go thru the 2nd thunder boomer on the other side of the valley. Home safe, almost dry.

Where is Springman? Did he ride back to Houston on Friday? Was Super Dave riding with him?

Friday was horrendous storms in Houston and pretty much all the way down I10 from the Hill Country. We had 5-6" of rain in the Katy area near me (west Houston) yesterday. Roads closed and flooded...just a big nasty mess that came in like 3 giant waves.

I thought y'all were staying thru today (5/2) myself. Today is absolutely awesome - cool and dry. Hopefully Springman made it alright and recovering today.

Yeah, the day I wore that shirt, all I had to do was open my jacket and everyone new I needed a pit stop. Grin

Thursday night I loaded my bike onto SuperDave's trailer along with his bike and we headed to San Antonio to his daughter's house. Well, his daughter has a cat and I am very allergic to cats so I check the weather radar and said, Houston here I come. I don't know what time it was when I left San Antonio, probably somewhere around 7 pm. I got home right at 11 pm and really only encountered light rain once I got into houston. So I did get a bit wet some 10-15 miles from home. I was a bit cold by the time I got home.

All in all it was a great time like these trips always are. Wish more of you guys would have been there. The park cabin was good but the ranch house (for 6 or more guys) is even better.

Oh, by the way, the name Rocket on YouzGuys bike is not a misnomer! Shocked

I'm glad yall made it home safe and had a fun trip ! I missed not being able to join the fun and comradery !

My Brother in Law is home from the hospital but is still bed ridden so Marcia still goes to help take care of him every other day while I hold down the home front .

Before winter comes back around ... I'll see if I can get a week long ride somewhere ?
I did sign up for the Disguised Gentlemen's Ride ... but now two more things have come up for the same day ... so ? Huh

Some times things works out and some times they don't ... Undecided

But
Me and Zen did get a 50 mile ride today ... I took the long way to the grocery store and a big loop of back roads on the way back ! By time I got home , I had a trunk full of Groceries and a 50 pound bag of dog food across the saddle .
