Babbitt’s due process was an instant decision made by a police officer, same as Good’s due process. I don’t personally agree with either. Both women should be alive today but it’s mostly their fault they are not, both instigated the scenario that lead to their death.

In Babbitt's case, a crime was in commission. That means the officer can use deadly force to stop the crime. Good was not doing anything illegal. It's not the same thing. If they had not shot her, Good would have driven away. If Babbitt hadn't been stopped, Members of Congress, or even the VP would have been harmed DURING COMMISSION OF A CRIME.

So either you don’t understand and haven’t seen any of the videos, or you’re purposely lying through your teeth, or you’re blinded by partisanship that manifest’s itself in absolute hatred. One of those is only explanation for you saying she wasn’t committing a crime. Of course she was.

Neither one of them deserved to get shot and killed, but they did, and it mostly their fault. In both cases the police officers could have acted differently.

It's not blindness in my opinion. He knows, he just can't admit it for various reasons. Typically they won't admit it to themselves, and that begins the outward projection of increasingly illogical statements. You wonder why I press issues like the WY Rancher and lay a groundwork for categorizing the repetitive and reactionary lying. It helps show some people aren't "blind" to what's going on, it's that they choose alternatives to being honest with themselves and other people.

Combine that with the fact there is pretty much zero accountability with this type of behavior online, and you get the nonsense we see on many of these issues.

Maybe, maybe not. I tend to believe it’s blindness, unable to see. I have my blind spots, you have yours. Far, far less than some people and certainly a fraction of those who think ICE is the equivalent of Gestapo, but it’s there.

Actually I think the unfortunate death of these two women is somewhat of a litmus test. If you can’t see the similarities between them, you should rethink reality.

But a word of caution, I hope I recognize my blindness when it appears.

Now, if you can just bring yourself to see that she was evading a direct, and lawful order to get out of a vehicle. She hit the gas, so she took that risk. Just as Babbitt took a risk.

Oh yeah since ICE is not "traffic enforcement" they can't stop vehicles, I forgot about that.

Crime of violence? Imagine he didn’t shoot her but arrested her without incident? There would be charges but don’t see assault or anything like that.
