So I'm helping another associate out with identity theft issues where loans were taken out in their name.  It's occurred to me that people do not know they can freeze their credit and simply unfreeze it if they need to take out a loan.

 It's easy, and absolutely should be done if you are not actively seeking out debt.  

 Below are the links to the major Credit Reporting Agencies freeze options.  Save yourself some headaches, it takes much, much longer to fix stolen ID than to take the steps on the links below.
