MAGAT'S REAL Problem

MAGATs, not necessarily known for their genius, have a simple problem. It's a problem GOP "conservatives" have always had. They think "socialism", and "capitalism" are single, discreet, systems. It's an offshoot of their general overly reductive attempts at logic. That's what makes them think everything can be reduced to either/or, black/white, +/-, 1/0 comparisons. They do not realize that there is no such thing as a "socialism" that is always bad and can be blocked or stopped. They do the same with "capitalism"--- to MAGATs, it's always good, and always superior. MAGATs are not capable of thinking about more than 2 variables. When they say "socialist", they THINK they are talking about one thing, when there are various socialisms. The Scandinavians, and most of the EU, claim to be "capitalists". Theirs is not the same as US "capitalism", nor is it the same as the capitalism practiced in Somalia, or Iraq, or many 3rd world countries. There is a RANGE of what is called "capitalism", just like there is a RANGE of what is called "socialism". Despite their claims, the EU is mostly democratic socialism, including Scandinavia. (Many of them try to get around that fact by claiming to be "social democratic" systems, though there are few distinctions between that and democratic socialism.) Democratic socialism is different from the Soviet Union, the Chinese version, the Cuban version, etc. Until MAGATs educate themselves, there will never be a meeting of minds with normal, thinking people.

I regularly interact with somewhere in the neighborhood 200 of our outside sales engineers. I just returned from a week of training new employees, 25 individuals most of which are under 30 years old. I know the politics of at least 3/4 of these people, if not more, as it’s a regular topic and of those, easily 90% fall on the conservative side of the political spectrum. That’s not to say they’re Trump supporters necessarily but they are not Democratic voters in national elections.

Of all those people, no one fits your description. I don’t know anyone who would describe political and economic systems in such black-and-white terms. Any normal thinking person understands that competing interests dilutes the practical application of either capitalism, socialism, or communism.

Just because for the sake of arguments, or during conversations, people say the US is a capitalistic nation, that doesn’t mean they are claiming every economic activity operates under the rules of a classical definition of capitalism.

You accuse a group of thinking in black and white terms, but… then you use a strong black and white stereotype of “MAGATs” such as:
unintelligent, incapable of more than two variables, and not logical.

This is the same mistake you accuse others of.

And, yet, so many MAGATs on this little forum obviously think in discreet binary. Suffice it to say that ENOUGH MAGATs think that way that, if you're among the miniscule few who don't, YOU are not exemplary of the whole. Look at the reactions to my posts--- MAGATs immediately call my post lies. NOT misunderstanding, NOT mistakes, NOT misinformation--- lies. How many of you actually fact check what I post? (REAL fact checking, like from university research, or vetted news sources? (Currently, that is AP, Reuters, and a few other sites that actually practice journalism, not Fox, OAN, etc.) MAGATs act like internet forums are courts of law, when they are closer to conversations you'd hear in a bar. For me, forums are entertaining, not a serious venue. If I wanted that, I'd join a university think tank. Some of you don't even realize when you're being triggered. That is hilarious! If the MAGATs on here are a good sample, the Dems have nothing to worry about.

Interesting. You act as if there are only to types of forum members here: Ones that agree with you, and everyone else is a "MAGAT", which is literally the binary problem you are bringing up.

People who are not Conservatives, or "MAGAT" also think you lie. This has nothing to do with political affiliation, it has to do with you saying you will lie, then defending lying by saying you do it because Trump does it more. Now it's because you are "illogical" when you are "Pissed off".

Either way, even people who never voted or supported Trump, can't take most of what you say serious. People think your lies are lies, and they think some of what you say is misunderstanding, mistakes, or misinformation.

I used to, but your responses to anyone offering information that something you post is not correct, is typically followed with lies. You just make sh!t up when challenged and then call people names like that means anything. That's what makes you look like a liar on here, the random BS you make up when people don't agree with you.

How many of you actually fact check what I post? (REAL fact checking, like from university research, or vetted news sources?

You certainly don't. Where's your vetted fact check of the Bondi statement, used incidentally to show how people will believe lies. Shouldn't you have vetted such a statement and provided the references you demand of others?

Your expectation of others to verify the accuracy of your posts should start with you. But just like your admission of lying because others lie more, maybe you refuse to vet your own information because other people refuse more than you. People are sure to respect that right?
