X marks the spot

Why is this even a debatable question?

Washington — The Supreme Court on Thursday allowed the Trump administration to enforce for now its policy ending the use of the "X" marker on passports and requiring the documents to reflect the passport-holder's "biological sex at birth."

The high court agreed to freeze a lower court order that stopped the State Department from enforcing the policy put into place by President Trump earlier this year. The injunction allowed transgender or nonbinary people seeking passports to self-select the sex designation — "M," "F" or "X" — that aligns with their gender identity.

The Supreme Court appeared to split 6-3 in the decision, with the three liberal justices in dissent.

I know a couple whose girl now wants to be a man. I understand, because as a child, she always felt like a boy, and she acted like one too.
If that's how you want to be, that's fine, and I won't try to forget to call you a he.
She appreciates that I'm trying, because that's what matters most to her.

But she has a female body, although it wasn't visible for a while because she hadn't fully developed yet. Many young children still have to figure out for themselves what gender they are. After all, we're not men or women; we are consciousness, and that's neutral. And that's why children look neutral.

I know the psychology behind this "boy" that makes him want to be a boy.
And I would think it better for "him" if he took on the challenge of facing the pain and his fear he feels for the world outside his super-loving parents, because that's where the root of it lies for him. I am therefore not in favor of continuing this protective climate, especially not when it's advocated by adults struggling with the same challenge.

And when you're a woman who looks and dresses like a man, with a passport you'd rather not have, so what?
You're not a wimp, are you? Where is your spirit?

I do believe we should give children freedom in how they want to express themselves. If you work against that, they'll gravitate more strongly toward the opposite direction.

But I'm not going to pave their adult lives with roses.

I also won't let anyone force me how I have to think, I want to accept you  as best as i can, especially if you're a child, but don't overdo it.
I'm not playing your game.

I knew a grown man who was  a transvestite, and he made a pass at me in women's clothes. Then I'll give you a piece of my mind because I see you're a man, taking on a woman's role because you find it hot, and I don't appreciate that.

If a gay man wants too much attention from me because he can't stay to himself, he'll hear that from me too. I'm not going to tolerate you,

By the way, I do appreciate you discussing things beyond one-liners for once.

Because the ideology under that rainbow umbrella is dangerous. It’s ridiculous. It’s nonsense and it’s hurting children. This is not about same sex, it’s about the idea the gender is fluid, dynamic and not only are there more than two, but it can change throughout your life.

That’s true if you change the historical definition to gender to equal mood or whatever the social contagion element is of the moment is but it’s not reality.

And you’re sure don’t seem to have a problem with telling 99.9% of gun owners that they’re are evil and wrong and need to give up their guns. They’re not hurting you. Leave them alone.

Look at the Minneapolis school shooter. The idea that he hid his serious mental issues behind an excuse that he was a woman in a man’s body is preposterous. All of you ridiculous people who buy into this crap need to answer for what he wrote in his diary.

Where did you find this information?

Chromosomal imbalance is measurable through standard testing.  According to the NIMH the majority of patients indicating gender dysphoria in the past 10 years have standard chromosome features.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7301881/

I think Social Media and peer interaction has caused more gender identity change than any amount of chromosomal abnormality.  If what you say is true, the data surrounding chromosomal abnormality impacts would skyrocket.

Those are two different things.  I am specifically addressing gender identification, which is not equal to homosexuality.

Evidence shows human children that are not on social media are less likely to experience gender dysphoria.  Maybe they just express it less, however they are also less likely to experience depression, bullying, diet problems, substance abuse and antisocial behaviors.  Massive studies have been the backbone of the legal strategies being used against these Social Media companies.

Where did you get your information that the REALITY is it's a matter of chromosomes (sp?) or an imbalance there of?  How are they getting so many chromosome results from all these children?

The overwhelming number of humans claiming transition do so by means of digital statements.  Without an actual medical test, there would be no way to know there is a chromosomal abnormality, so how can one conclude your REALITY is real?

What you are, and how you identify, is a mental issue, though not necessarily a mental health issue. Most pre-Christian and even a lot of Christian contemporary belief systems recognize that. Sexuality is almost exclusively in the mind. It doesn't necessarily align with birth sex, or gender. Judaism recognized 6 different sexual proclivities. Christianity and Islam were small minority religions for centuries, so they frowned on sex not aimed at procreation, just to keep from being exterminated for their political meddling. (BOTH Christians and Muslims want to dictate the laws.) Sexuality is on a spectrum, no matter how you try to make it a male/female, black/white, or on/off binary. Denying that IS denying reality. YOU may not accept transgender, or homosexuality, but that does not mean YOU get to decide that for others. Just Like Roe v Wade being overturned, that is imposing YOUR religious beliefs onto other people, threatening THEIR freedom. It's the same as MAGAT "Christians" claiming to be "Christians", while ignoring things like pedophilia, graft, corruption, treason, etc. In healthcare, you are warned NOT to participate in patient's delusions, whether it's a little girl who thinks they're a boy, or a 60 year old MAGAT that thinks Jesus sent Don TACO. People tend to live in the world they made in their heads, and YOU are probably not welcome.

Personally, I think gender declarations are outdated. We can put the person's DNA profile on a microdot on the passport, or just fingerprints, for a better form of ID. Then the gender would be beside the point. The problem with the illegal Supreme Court's decision is that they just set things back a century or so, instead of addressing the problem.

I disagree about the Judaism and the recognition of 6 different sexual proclivities.  This mostly comes from my regular interactions with a large Jewish family that is about 30% Orthodox.  If those two sides can agree on something, it is most likely accurate.  Also my discourse with The Denver Seminary.  The discussion that Judaism recognizes 6 sexual proclivities has pretty much only come about after the New York Times article.

Agreed.  People will still complain though.  Oh no, now they want our DNA!!!  The Government will be making clones of us all!!!
