I do not completely agree whit thatMost pre-Christian and even a lot of Christian contemporary belief systems recognize that. Sexuality is almost exclusively in the mind. This isn't correct. Let me explain. Sexuality is an energy in your body—sexual energy. Your genitals are linked to your hormone balance. Your body can't distinguish between a real tiger and thinking about one; it reacts to your ideas. That's why sexual fantasies play such a significant role.
We have energy wheels on our bodies called chakras. These are connected to the endocrine glands. A person's sexual preference is determined by the direction of rotation of the heart chakra and the tailbone chakra. Trauma can reverse this direction. In homosexuals, the chakras rotate femininely, and in lesbians, masculinely. This is innate, and therefore a true sexual orientation.
In people who have experienced sexual trauma, the lower chakra rotates in the opposite direction due to the shock. This can happen in both heterosexual and homosexual people. If they experience a trauma that causes their chakras to spin again, then we speak of bisexual people. They can have sex with both genders.
Sexuality is therefore not something mental. It is physically and energetically determined. That's why people want to be themselves. And everyone has the right to be who they are. And you can't forbid that. Whether you accept it or not is entirely your problem. don,t make it theirs.
But there's also such a thing as perversion. If sex is something that happens in your head and not in an intimate relationship with someone you're with at that moment, then it's not natural. And that's the case for most people.
Perversions can take many forms. Just look on the internet. The worst is pedophilia, because having sex with adults is devastating for children. A child's nervous system is damaged by the orgasm of an adult body. The trauma makes their chakras turn, causing them to go through life with enormous challenges. They also struggle to be in their bodies, causing them to go through life in a state of dissociation.
Nowadays, everyone is traumatized and dissociated. ("Dissociated" means you are not fully connected to your consciousness, feelings, body, or environment because you are in a state of dissociation.) Therefore, we live in an almost continuous world of thoughts. We identify with this world of thoughts, but it is not who we are. Nor does the world of thoughts determine our sexuality. For example, pedophilia is not a sexual orientation but a perversion. It doesn't necessarily align with birth sex, or gender. Judaism recognized 6 different sexual proclivities. Christianity and Islam were small minority religions for centuries, so they frowned on sex not aimed at procreation, just to keep from being exterminated for their political meddling. (BOTH Christians and Muslims want to dictate the laws.) Sexuality is on a spectrum, no matter how you try to make it a male/female, black/white, or on/off binary. Denying that IS denying reality. YOU may not accept transgender, or homosexuality, but that does not mean YOU get to decide that for others. Just Like Roe v Wade being overturned, that is imposing YOUR religious beliefs onto other people, threatening THEIR freedom. It's the same as MAGAT "Christians" claiming to be "Christians", while ignoring things like pedophilia, graft, corruption, treason, etc. In healthcare, you are warned NOT to participate in patient's delusions, whether it's a little girl who thinks they're a boy, or a 60 year old MAGAT that thinks Jesus sent Don TACO. People tend to live in the world they made in their heads, and YOU are probably not welcome. Personally, I think gender declarations are outdated. We can put the person's DNA profile on a microdot on the passport, or just fingerprints, for a better form of ID. Then the gender would be beside the point. The problem with the illegal Supreme Court's decision is that they just set things back a century or so, instead of addressing the problem. There's no problem in principle. Identifying based on the physical appearance of the body isn't a bad thing. It's practical. The problem arises when people start identifying with their mindset or their body. And they want others to confirm their identity. But the mind is an illusion, and that's why it always wants confirmation. It's a disease we all suffer from. In that sense, you could say we're all insane. That's why I say don't take it too far. Accept that we don't all have the same sexual orientation. But don't go along with people's need for validation, which arises from their disoriented state of being. Compassion also means confronting someone with the fact that you don't like their behavior. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/zDcxPKpbt3s (Its a short)
