Sure things change. (Despite "conservatives'" best efforts.) That's why conservatives are dying out--- no adaptability. MAGATs tend to pick what they want to allow to change and then fight against everything else. The changes happen any, though, despite the MAGAT opposition. It is illegal to apply laws retroactively, like 47 is doing with ICE. There are still US citizens with parents and grandparents who came here before 1924. They have no immigration papers because there were none. Deporting them  is the same as saying Reagan was not born in the US, since he didn't have a real birth certificate. If the US hadn't had such a predatory history open borders would be a moot point. Instead, the US created enemies all over the world. NOW the borders must be monitored to keep out terrorists. However, it would arguably be better to allow citizens of neighboring countries to enter with only normal documentation, like Mexican or Canadian driver's licenses, as long as they aren't terrorists, similar to what the EU is doing. It would certainly be cheaper and less onerous than arresting people for crossing the border. Look at what the current policy has done to farmers. That, and 47's stupid tariff idea will bankrupt the rest of the family owned farms, leaving only Monsanto planting corporate farms, if that. Your leader's an idiot.

You tend to agree with me on a lot of specifics. Now, if you can level up to agreeing that Trump and his minions are destroying the US, you might be salvageable .
