Grok tells me Chicago is about 4 times larger with 4 times the population than Washington DC. If Trump had sent troops to Chicago a month ago to do the same type of work as they’re doing in DC, would those eight people still be alive today?

For context, Grok tells me searching local news shows there’s only been one murder in DC since Trump ordered the national garden to assist in crime prevention. And very important, 111 illegal weapons were confiscated.

But would those 8 be alive? Most likely not. Chicago is just too big and too populated to go from the level of murders they have now to zero. However, the question is again how many of those it would be like today. Half? Three? Two?

Almost certainly the number would’ve been less than 58 shot at eight killed.
