Okay,, a corporation that was making money from this alleged comic shut down his show, in Spite of the Fact that HE WAS GENERATING PROFITS.
You know that is not true. His ratings went to crap.
He failed to maintain a large enough audience to make his show valuable.
He got canned, because he's not funny.

Highest ratings in the time slot. Try again. You're information sources are sh*t.

Might have had the highest ratings but doesn’t mean he was making them money. And yes, the lawsuit from Trump and the settlement probably had an impact.

Remember, Tucker Carlson was number me in his time slot by a mile when he was fired. Fox never said but text messages criticizing management during the voting machine lawsuit might have played a role.

Ok that's enough with the equal and realistic assessments.  This forum has no tolerance for such logic.  It's either Trump's fault or it's not - nothing that happens anywhere contains multiple variables.  To be fair if it's not Trump's fault, it is Biden's - but that's all you get.

Most people fired "without cause" are hit with made-up causes as soon as they challenge it. Corporations are evil. If they were people, they would be tried, found guilty, and at least go to prison.

So Colbert should Sue ?

Or he can't because,
CBS is a 'Corporation' ?

they would be tried,
found guilty..."

Well, which is it? Colbert was a profit center, making money for the corporation and shut down in Spite of being exactly what corporations WANT from their employees,, A PROFIT,
Or
They were losing money On HIS Show?
The corporate Total Profits don't say anything about HIS TIME SLOT.
Did YOU watch his show? How often?
Me? I was done with him twenty years ago. I thought his ability to tuck his ear inside itself was his most humorous thing.

MAGATs will bend over to protect their capitalist overlords. They'll even get down on their knees.

That’s stupid. Every late talk show does that. Hell, I watched 30 minutes of CBS network news last night and the first 15 minutes were poorly disguised Democratic Party talking points.

At worst, getting rid of his show was appeasement for editing the Harris 60 minutes answer, but they probably could have done something else to do that. At best and I thin more likely, they wanted something different than just another liberal talk show at night. They’re all the same. Maybe they’re just trying to evolve. They made a big switch on their nightly news.

At the end of the day, no one will miss him. Maybe he’ll go online like Tucker did. Not sure why they didn’t just rip the bandaid off and pull him immediately like Fox did to Tucker.
