If the Show was MAKING MONEY, he would still be there.. Unless you Believe an Eeevill Corporation would Shut Down a Profit making part of the corporation.

My point is CBS was a bunch of liars, until they said Colbert was a financial decision in exclusivity, now they are honest. That's convenient.

It could simply be there’s just not a big enough audience of liberals to watch that many late night political shows.

You’ve got three essentially identical political talk shows on at the same time. Plus remember that MSNBC and CNN have their late night shows as well so network TV and cable are all competing over the same group.

Conservatives don’t have any shows on network TV so Fox talk shows on cable have no competition.

Probably or at least one of the reasons for the cancellation is likely due to the fallout from CBS editing that Kamala clip.

All the late night talk shows are in jeopardy. Not just because they have evolved in Democratic Party talking points, but because the landscape is changing and businesses that supply the demand are forced to adjust.

Again , they’re finding out it’s not a good business model anymore to figure you can thrive appealing to the small percentage of people who watch those shows and then whatever percentage of that number who are liberals.

SNL still survives because the base number is larger and they are younger and more likely to have not experienced enliven to firm up political ideology, but that won’t last. To be fair, SNL dips its toes into the other pool from time to time and invites more conservative entertainers and politicians on.

As has been said many times and is a great way to view politics, liberals are children, conservatives are adults.
