The $64,000 question, for CBS in this case, the $30 million question, will it essentially force main stream media outlets to seek out and hire outside of their liberal bubble?

As much as the same thing would essentially force main stream Conservative media to seek out and hire outside of their conservative bubble.

The difference between conservative media and liberal media is obvious. Liberal media dominates the news and entertainment culture. Conservative media is always overwhelmed by liberal media. That’s a big difference. Because as I like to point out, I can’t escape liberal news. Our leftist friends here never watch conservative news, never hear it. I can’t go anywhere public like an airport without liberal news blaring in the background. And of course all the major news networks are liberal and actively support and help liberal politicians.

But your point is correct. While many at Fox hate Trump, they absolutely promote conservative policies.

Now, have they edited answers to make Trump look more Presidential like CBS did to Harris? Don’t think so but wouldn’t surprise me.

Since CBS has twice the net worth of 47, even counting his crypto, the $16 mil is "STFU" money. He's punching above his weight, if nothing else.

An entire network with a history stretching back decades only has half the net worth? Doubt that.

The point is
He proved they deceptively edited what she said in order to hide what a moron she is.
And they paid up for it. Can you say
Election Interference boys and girls?
It proved how biased the media are, too.

Maybe, in this instance. You can't say they're guilty if they settle out of court. There was no trial. I suspect you MAGATs will say that proves they are guilty. If so, what does that say about 47's 100+ settlements?
