The LAW says officers MUST ID themselves.

 Agreed.  Does it say they can't wear masks?  No it does not.  The process, that you obviously refuse to educate yourself about, is outlined in actual real US LAW.  When MAGA was trying to say LEO can't wear Covid masks during arrests/stops it was very clearly established that obtaining LEO ID and mask wearing are not the same.  

 MAGA was wrong about masks then, and you are wrong about it now.

 LEO do have to take part in those same restrictions when off-duty, so no THEY would not be able to wear masks by law.  They show ID when voting etc. it is a very well known fact that law enforcement have different levels of authority and restrictions than non-LEO humans and those apply when acting in an official capacity.  Otherwise they follow the same laws.

 You could have a good argument about ICE wearing masks, if you would use real laws and not made-up nonsense hoping nobody will bother to educate themselves about it.

 I think it's fine for LEO to wear masks as long as they follow the processes for identification written in real existing law.  I'm not a fan of people being able to go harrass, kidnap, commit crimes against the families of LEO doing their job.  I do believe criminals exist and will intentionally harm LEO families even if that officer was acting completely appropriately and within the bounds of the law.  

  They should not however be able to hide behind a mask and utilize that as an avenue of violating laws or rights.  Real laws, not fake ones.

 Yeah it's pretty evil to acknowledge when I am being lied to about fake laws and instead want to use real laws to hold ICE accountable for their violations.  Your dislike for Trump and associated parties overtakes your ability to have an adult conversation.

 Can you reference one that is FAKE?  Or will you come up with a reason to not prove your statement and just indicate you don't approve of the source?  None of the references are "MAGA" websites.  There is one Christian one added for other members that will not look at NBC or CNN.  They all say the same thing: They reference actual law - that I posted here.

 I know a decent amount of people out at Bragg due to the SF training center, and while initial indications are that this happened, I prefer to have better verification.

 The behavior in the video however is what I would consider unusual, and inappropriate for enlisted personnel.  This is an opinion.
